chapter two of remember our love

Can't wait to propose to zarah today, after all that's what we promise each other, i love her so much and she will forever be my queen.

"khaleel! ",

Khaleel was pulled out of his daydream when his dad call out his name. 

"yes dad? ",

"ain't you going to school today ",

"am going dad, just preparing ",

"well sorry for bringing you out of your dream world buh i have something to discuss with you ",

"no problem dad,  what's wrong ",

"you see son, i decided to move back to the states and i think it's also at the right time because you finishing high school afterall",

What is dad saying, omg this isn't happening to me today of all days, what would i tell zarah after we promise to be together till eternity

"dad i don't think is a good idea, because i have my friends here and especially zarah",

"i know son buh my business is there and i need to be there, you can ask zarah to come with us or do you want me to tell her dad",

"no need dad, i will ask her myself ",

"okay son, well be fast and go to school, remember don't drive allow the driver to do it",

"okay dad, bye".

Khaleel aliyu, son of a business tycoon alhaji aliyu is the only son of alhaji aliyu and hajiya salamatu. They base at abuja but indigenous people of kaduna.

They once live in Seattle, USA buh later returned to Nigeria when khaleel was two years old, alhaji aliyu and alhaji abubakar (zarah's father)  are best friends and came from the same place, they are business partners.

Khaleel and zarah grew up together, that's why they love each other unconditionally. Khaleel is 20years while zarah is 18years, they each other that they will be together forever never knowing what destiny kept for them.

At school

Omg am loosing my mind, what's happening to me, zarah can't leave me because i won't survive it. I love her so much and forever is what i want with her. Happiness is zarah, zarah is my happiness.

Khaleel followed zarah to where she was seated with her friend,

"please zarah talk to me , please "😞

"Khaleel i have nothing to say to you",

"zarah can't you remember our love, can't you remember us, our promise or don't you want that with me anymore ",

"i do khaleel, i love you more than you could imagine, but khaleel your dad have decided already i have nothing to say against it",

"come with zarah, let's go to Seattle together ",

"what!  No khaleel i can't, my friends are here and my family also even though i know dad would agree to it but i can't ",

"how can i survive there without you, i love you more than life itself zarah",

"then you learn khaleel, learn to live without me ",

At this stage, they were both crying seriously,

"okay zarah, atleast let's make do of our last days together ",

"yeah, let's do that khaleel, all those dates and couple things let's do them all",

"i love you my queen ",

"i love you more king".

Khaleel and zarah relationship is growing stronger at the die minute but right inside them they know it's weaker, because long distance relationships is pain in the ass and require more than anyone could imagine .

Prom night

Where is zarah, she is supposed to be here, she promised this with him that his last days in Nigeria would be perfect then where is she,she left him here alone with her thoughts. How can he let her go now after the wonderful dates they had together, she is so adorable and lovable.

The headlights was on someone, someone wearing a shiny, glittering ball gown, as beautiful as Cinderella herself with all the dress and shoe.
When khaleel turned, he saw zarah coming down the stairs like the queen she was and she took his breath away, he approached her and took her hand like a gentleman which made her blush, they look perfect together like Romeo and Juliet, Laila and majnun, khrishna and rada, ohh the list is so full.

"may i have your first dance my queen ",

"with pleasure king",

When there were dancing, khaleel decided to try his luck again,

"zarah please come with me ",

"can we leave that matter and concentrate on tonight khaleel, please make it memorable for because by tomorrow you won't be here 😦",

"okay my queen ".

It was time for prom queen and king and the mc took the mic,
"for this year's prom queen and king we call on the sport master ",

The sports master arrived on stage,
"this year's king goes to khaleel aliyu",

Yes!

"and the queen is.... ",

Please please please

"is fatima abubakar ",

Yes!

The mc gave both of them a mic and khaleel started by saying,
"everyone here knows you are my queen ",

"and everyone here knows you are my king",

"here is my promise to you before everyone here, i would love you forever till eternity even when am not here know that. I will come back for you and i will marry you because you are my queen, mine alone ",

Everyone was silent except for zarah who was crying,

"and i will remember our love khaleel ".

Khaleel made that night memorable for zarah and he meant each word.

At the airport

Oh come on, this girl is late again. Zarah will be the death of me, i can't wait much longer because i might miss my flight.

"son let's go, we ar getting late already",

"okay dad am coming ", khaleel answered quietly.

As khaleel was turning to go, he heard his name,

"khaleel!, please wait ",

"zarah, finally ",

"khaleel please don't leave me, i was holding it before buh i can't anymore khaleel am breaking down ",

Khaleel didn't realize it, he just hugged zarah tightly. His dad was watching them and shedding tears for there love, finally he let go of her.

"it's too late now Zarah, i have to go " , khaleel and zarah were both crying.

"okay, let's do it like this, that long distance relationship i want it, i will manage anything with you king",

"okay queen let's do it".

"son we have to go, and zarah please take care of yourself ",

After saying that, khaleel and his went to join hajiya salamatu leaving zarah alone there and crying 😢.
